When the cold bug came...

My big plans for the weekend went straight down the toilet as a nasty cold monster has caught me in his sharp clawed hands. Baaaahhhh. With a head like a fish bowl, no appetite (maybe a good thing for my waist line....Always look on the bright side if life, trala trala la la la...), stuffed up nose and runny eyes, I don't get much done over here. Not even crochet. A few rows here and there on this cowl project I started from my Drops Cotton Light is about it... The surprising thing is that I actually have managed to finish my Nordic Shawl Pattern. Yay! Now I just have to adjust it in UK and US terms before the big release later this week. I am so pleased with this effort although most my time has been spent half sleeping on the couch.

So I will talk to you soon dear friends. I got some fun stuff to show you and some good Tilda Yarn  Specials to offer for Christmas, stocking up on the typical red, white and greys.  Stay tuned. Hope you all are well and are enjoying the dark evenings with lit candles. Snuggle up and crochet away! Light a candle or a CHristmas star (mine is still up form last year... one less thing to decorate I guess. Clever me. ). Thank you all for your sweet messages, you are truly the best. Love! Now I have to go and blow my nose. Atschooo!

  8. Aw, isn't it amazing how awful we can feel with "just" a cold? Not sick enough to call the doctor, but waaaaay too sick to do much of anything else. Feel better soon!!

  9. Sorry to hear you're all stuffed up with cold. I seem to have avoided it this time round, thank goodness. I'm so excited your shawl pattern is ready though, I'm dying to get my hook into that!

  11. I'll just stand over here by the door and wave and wish you well (because I seem to catch every cold that comes by). Thanks for sending us a message even when you don't feel well.

At least you're getting this over with now, and not Christmas week!

  12. Usch, vad tråkigt med förkylning och sjukdom. Men du tänker posetivt i alla fall... det gör jag också när jag är sjuk (speciellt magsjuk) "man blir ju smal i alla fall". ;)

    Krya på dig!! Kram //Petra
